Windage Tray with Block Brace suitable for BMW E30 M3 (S14) & M10 Engines

The windage tray with block brace from Wehran Motorsport is an engine component for the lower section of the block, suitable for BMW E30 M3 with the S14 engine as well as M10 engines. It combines three functions:

• Oil control: It reduces oil windage at high rpm and under lateral load.
• Oil capacity: It adds approx. 0.5 litres of oil capacity.
• Block brace: It stiffens the lower end of the engine.

That makes it a worthwhile upgrade for engines that are driven hard on the road and pushed on track.

Windage tray for motorsport: less oil windage under load

At high rpm and under strong lateral g-forces, engine oil gets thrown around and whipped up. The windage tray counters this by holding oil back in the lower section, which reduces windage in the crankcase. On track days and in racing, this helps keep oil supply stable under load.

Approx. 0.5 litres of extra oil capacity

The windage tray increases oil capacity by approx. 0.5 litres. This extra oil reserve improves oil supply, which particularly benefits engines that regularly run under high load.

Block brace for the lower end

On top of oil control, the part also does a structural job. As a block brace, it increases stiffness in the lower section of the engine block, making the engine more robust for demanding use.
