Weld-On Diff Cover Cooling Fins suitable for BMW 02 Series (1502–2002 turbo)

The weld-on cooling fins for the differential cover from Wehran Motorsport are made for the diff cover suitable for BMW 02 Series. They are welded precisely onto the small factory fins of the stock diff cover, which enlarges the fin surface and improves heat dissipation at the differential. That makes them a worthwhile upgrade for spirited road driving, track days and racing, with a motorsport look to match.

Diff cover cooling fins for track days and racing

Under hard use, the differential and its fluid heat up considerably. Larger fins give the cover more surface area to release that heat into the passing air. The cooling fins build on the existing fin structure of the factory cover and improve heat dissipation where it matters, especially during track sessions and in racing.

Precise fit on the factory fin structure

The fins are matched to the original fin layout of the stock diff cover. They are welded directly onto the small factory fins, so the cover keeps its original shape and mounting while gaining a much more pronounced finned profile.

Fitment: suitable for BMW 02 Series

The cooling fins are suitable for BMW 1502, 1602, 1802, 2002, 2002ti, 2002tii and 2002 turbo. An original differential cover with small factory cooling fins must be fitted. Diff covers without factory fins are not suitable.

Two options: self-installation or send-in service

• Self-installation: You receive the cooling fins and weld them onto your diff cover yourself.
• Send-in service: You send us your diff cover and we weld the cooling fins on for you.
