Lightweight bumper brackets suitable for BMW E36 – bumper shock delete for track cars
These lightweight bumper brackets replace the heavy factory bumper shocks and brackets suitable for BMW E36. Each set weighs approx. 500 g instead of approx. 3,550 g at the front and approx. 3,000 g at the rear, saving you approx. 5.5 kg in total. The brackets bolt to the original mounting points and are developed for track cars, drift cars and motorsport builds. They are intended for motorsport use only.

Why the factory bumper shocks have to go
The factory bumper shocks are designed for road use. On a track car they are dead weight, sitting right at the front and rear overhang, where every kilogram counts. Replacing them takes weight off the very ends of the car.
Strong, light and built for the track
The brackets are developed and made in Germany by Wehran Motorsport, based on our own track experience. Optimised material distribution keeps them stable at minimal weight. They are impact-resistant and withstand heat, UV and weather, and they hold the bumper securely and without play.
Bolts to the original mounting points
The brackets replace the factory bumper shocks and bolt to the original screw points using standard workshop tools. A vehicle lift helps but is not strictly necessary. Your original bumper is refitted as before, and the conversion can be reversed at any time.
Available with or without tow mount
The factory tow eye mount is removed together with the bumper shocks. Choose the version with tow mount if you want to keep a tow point in the original position. If you choose the version without tow mount, you will need to fit a tow hook elsewhere on the car.
