✔ cleaner combustion
✔ improved response
✔ higher efficiency and reliability

HG-Motorsport High Performance Ignition Coils from HG-Motorsport are the ideal solution for high-performance and tuned engines. Compared to standard ignition coils, they deliver up to 25% more ignition energy, ensure stable combustion, and prevent misfires – even under extreme conditions.

Especially in performance-enhanced engines (turbo, supercharger, or naturally aspirated setups), OEM ignition coils quickly reach their limits. These performance ignition coils offer consistent ignition power even at high RPMs and temperatures, making them perfect for both street and motorsport use.

Your advantages at a glance:
  • Up to +25% more ignition energy compared to standard
  • Stable ignition at high boost pressures & RPMs
  • Extremely thermally resistant (tested up to 140°C)
  • Plug & Play replacement for OEM ignition coils
  • Ideal for tuning, track tools & daily drivers

Technical Highlights:

Thanks to optimized primary and secondary windings and high-quality materials, the ignition coils deliver a constant high voltage over the entire dwell period. Even at high temperatures, performance remains stable, whereas standard ignition coils often show a significant decrease.

The result:
✔ cleaner combustion
✔ improved throttle response
✔ higher efficiency and reliability

Areas of Application:
  • Performance enhancements & software optimization
  • Turbo and supercharger conversions
  • Motorsport & Trackdays
  • Replacement for worn OEM ignition coils

Frequently asked questions about the product

When do I need stronger ignition coils?

Once your engine's performance has been increased (e.g. by software, turbocharger, supercharger, or higher revs), standard ignition coils often reach their limits. Performance ignition coils then ensure stable ignition and prevent misfires.

Is the upgrade worthwhile even for a production vehicle?

Yes - especially with older vehicles or worn-out ignition coils. You'll benefit from a smoother engine, better responsiveness, and increased reliability.

What does more ignition energy actually achieve?

Higher ignition energy ensures cleaner and more complete combustion. This means:
--> better power output
--> fewer misfires
--> more efficient engine operation
