The original E36 accelerator pedal is now many years old. Over time, the material becomes brittle, and the joint at the top of the pedal in particular often breaks off. In the worst case, the vehicle can no longer be accelerated safely. Instead of installing another original pedal with the same weak point, replace the entire component with a more robust design using the STW Style accelerator pedal.

The design is inspired by the pedals from the Super Touring era, when the E36 also competed on the racetrack. The bolted-on metal pedal plate gives the footwell a sporty motorsport look while also providing a sturdy surface to press on.

The main structure is made from heat-resistant plastic, with the metal pedal plate bolted onto it. Metal pins ensure a sturdy connection between the components. This means the accelerator pedal can withstand the demands of everyday use as well as racetrack use.
