Our lightweight bumper brackets, suitable for the BMW E46 (front axle) , replace the heavy original steel impact absorbers and are specifically designed for track tools, racing cars and motorsport conversions.
The original bumper brackets together weigh approximately 3.5 kg .
Our version made of high-quality ABS plastic weighs only 230 g per piece – this corresponds to a weight saving of around 3.0 kg at the front of the vehicle .
The removal of the massive steel impact absorbers not only reduces weight but also creates space in the front area – ideal for motorsport bumpers, front conversions or track use.
⚠️ Note:
The brackets do not have a thread for the original tow hook . The towing point must therefore be located elsewhere suitable.
