Differential Cooling Air Duct suitable for BMW E36 (188mm Differential)
Item No.: WM-E36-035
Differential Cooling Air Duct suitable for BMW E36 (188 mm Differential)
Maximum performance doesn't end with the engine – the differential also needs cooling, especially in tough racetrack conditions.
Our specially developed air duct ensures that the airflow is directed precisely under and behind the differential to effectively lower the temperature and increase resilience. The component is simply bolted to the differential, no removal necessary!
Especially in motorsport, the differential gets extremely hot – with this system, you bring functional cooling at a near-OEM level to your setup.
Product Details

Why Differential Cooling?
In stock condition, the differential is hardly actively cooled. However, under continuous load (track day, drift, circuit racing), temperatures rise sharply.
The consequences:
- Loss of performance due to overheating
- Increased wear of oil and bearings
- Risk of damage under extreme stress
👉 This air duct specifically uses the airflow to cool exactly where it matters.
Your Advantage
✔ Effective cooling without complex additional systems
✔ Significantly better temperature control in racing
✔ Durable, motorsport-grade material
✔ Clean, well-engineered solution instead of improvised air routing
❗ Note
- Developed for motorsport use
- Installation should ideally be carried out by a specialist workshop
- Depending on the setup and lowering, the fit must be checked
