Digitize components – 3D scan data as mesh and STL files

During 3D scanning, we capture the accessible shapes, contours, and surfaces of your component and create a digital surface model from them. We provide you with the scan data as a mesh file, for example in STL format.

The digital model can serve as a reference for further design, for adjusting adjacent components, or as a basis for preparing a reproduction. We will coordinate with you regarding the data processing required for your project.

The 3D scan provides the geometric foundation. The subsequent CAD design makes it possible to precisely adjust the component, modify functions, or prepare for reproduction. An editable CAD model is an additional service to the provision of the mesh or STL file and will be offered to suit your project.

Having components reproduced – individual solutions based on a template

Upon request, we can also assist you with the reproduction of your component. This is interesting, for example, if a spare part is no longer available or you need a customized version.
