The LithiumNEXT TRACK60 (S) is designed for use in track tools, primarily used on the racetrack but also driven on public roads. The motorsport-proven LiFePO4 cell technology and a specially developed BMS are integrated into an OEM battery housing.

The LithiumNEXT Track models combine absolute lightweight construction with extremely easy handling. The TRACK models can be swapped with the heavy OEM battery using a simple plug-and-play connection. Please note the size and capacity of your original vehicle battery.

Like all LithiumNEXT batteries, the LithiumNEXT TRACK60 features a BMS with deep discharge protection at 8.5 V and overvoltage protection at 15.2 V. After extended periods of inactivity (4-8 weeks, depending on the vehicle), the battery should be recharged to ensure it can deliver full starting current the next time the vehicle is started. This is especially important for vehicles with IBS and in cold temperatures.

Important: For vehicles whose alternator is controlled by an IBS, the battery must be re -learned – this is a basic requirement of the vehicle – not of the battery.

Important: The Lithiumnext TRACK models have limited winter suitability. This means that if the battery is fully charged (at least 13.2 V), the vehicle can be started even at temperatures as low as -20°C. The battery is generally not intended for everyday use in winter (see LithiumNEXT STREET models for details).

The TRACK60 fits track tools with an original lead-acid or AGM battery of up to 60Ah and a minimum width of 278 mm. Typical vehicles include:

• BMW E36 & E46 M3
• Golf 5, 6, 7 GTI 2.0 TFSI
• All VW, Seat, Audi 2.0 TFSI engines (NOT 2.5 TFSI)
