The set includes an aluminum thermostat housing including gaskets, a 71 °C thermostat, a brass bleeder screw for the coolant expansion tank, and an aluminum pulley for the water pump. This allows you to renew several components of your E36 engine cooling system during a rebuild or maintenance.

71 °C Thermostat suitable for the BMW E36 – earlier opening point

The included 71-degree thermostat begins to open at a coolant temperature of approximately 71 °C. This allows coolant flow through the radiator to start sooner than with the standard higher-temperature thermostat.

This makes the low-temperature thermostat a targeted adjustment for a cooling concept tuned for motorsport. The actual coolant temperature continues to depend on engine load, radiator performance, and airflow.

Aluminum Thermostat Housing including gaskets suitable for the BMW E36

The aluminum thermostat housing replaces the plastic housing found in many BMW E36s with a robust metal version. If you are overhauling your cooling system, you can switch to an aluminum housing directly when changing the thermostat.

The corresponding gaskets are included in the delivery. This way, you receive the thermostat and housing together in one kit—perfect for your planned E36 cooling system overhaul.

Brass Bleeder Screw for the coolant expansion tank

Aluminum Pulley for the BMW E36 Water Pump
